Round 15 Team of the Week

Round 15's Team of the Week...

Jez Litten and Kelepi Tanginoa starred in Hull KR’s dramatic drop goal victory against Castleford on Thursday evening.

Litten produced a terrific try assist and the match-winning one-pointer for the Robins, while Tanginoa, as always, was an admirable workhorse in both attack and defence. He made 29 tackles, four tackle busts, and a whooping 135 metres in just 12 carries.

Brodie Croft contributed two breathtaking tries to Leeds’ victory on Friday - in what was an emotional night at AMT Headingley Stadium. A passionate Croft earned Player of the Match for his exceptional efforts and is joined by team-mate Mikolaj Oledzki in Round 15’s Team of the Week, who also put a commendable shift in.

Oledzki also emerged as the Rhinos’ top tackler with 34 tackles made.

Wigan Warriors moved back up to the top of the Super League table with a convincing win over London Broncos. Two-try scorer Jack Farrimond appears in this week’s Team of the Week – the talented 18-year-old producing a fantastic solo try just two minutes in, while also maintaining a 100% perfect record with the kicking tee in Round 15.

All on his home debut too!

Experienced head Jake Wardle also crossed for a brace in the Warriors' win.

Match-winner Matt Dufty has been present in plenty of Team of the Week’s in 2024, and once again in Round 15, he was pivotal in Warrington’s victory against Hull FC. Dufty produced over 200 metres and tallied a ridiculous 12 tackle busts, before going on to cross for the match-winning score in style.

Despite being on the losing side, Hull's Herman Ese’ese continued to impress in recent weeks, and therefore earns his place in Team of the Week for the second week running.

Catalans Dragons finally returned to winning ways and to assist this was the standout performances of Tom Davies and Ben Garcia.

It was then a memorable afternoon for Salford Red Devils, who completed their first league double over St Helens since 1980. A trio of Red Devils feature in Round 15 - including two-try scorer Deon Cross.

Captain Kallum Watkins then produced an all-rounded performance, before Nene Macdonald triggered the match-winning try with one of his perfect passes down the right edge.
