PLAY FANTASY LEAGUE HERE!

Safe to say that Rivals Round lived up to its blockbuster billing!

With emotions and intensity notched up an extra level, Rivals Round Hit Harder as teams fiercely fought for bragging rights over their local rivals.

It’s the return of the Betfred Challenge Cup this weekend, meaning Fantasy players have an additional week to sort out their squad out for Round 8 of the Betfred Super League (returning Thursday 16 April)

So, with this in mind, who were the top performers in Rivals Round, and who cracked under the pressure?

Build or change your Fantasy team here!

Top performers

Joe Mellor (103 points)

Avid readers will know this isn’t the first time the Bulls captain has appeared on this list, it’s the fourth in fact!

How much more do you need to know to make sure Mellor is in your side?

Mellor led by example on Friday Night. He racked up 103 Fantasy points in Rivals Round, including one try assist, three offloads, five tackle busts and a jaw-dropping 69 tackles as the Bulls faced the Rhinos in their first Super League meeting in 12 years.

Looking to change your loose forward in April? You can’t do much better than the Bulls’ number 13!

Will you be transferring Mellor into your Fantasy team? Bradford travel to Wakefield Trinity in the next round…

Mathieu Jussaume (95 points)

The French outfit have thrown their weight around so far this season, proving they can compete at the elite level.

No one typifies this better than their centre Mathieu Jussaume, who certainly raised his game in Rivals Round.

Scoring a hat-trick was just the start of Jussaume’s stellar display against the Dragons on Saturday; he also produced three line breaks and eight tackle busts – an action-packed performance in the French Derby!

At £90k, Jussaume can provide excellent value for any Fantasy side. He’s already accumulated over 400 Fantasy point and is priced significantly less than others in his position. He’ll be a welcome addition to any Fantasy side and is a cheaper option you should consider ahead of Round 8 as Toulouse host the champions…

Tristan Sailor (94 points)

What a result for the Saints on Friday!

It was a comeback for the ages by the Red V in Rivals Round – and Tristan Sailor was at the heart of it.

It’s a Good Friday that will live long in the memory for St Helens fans.

Playmaker Sailor’s performance on Friday accrued 94 points, including one try, one try assist, 130 metres and four offloads. A dazzling half-back display!

Looking for a new number 6? Sailor is priced highly at £160k, but with his fine form at present, it’s hard not to put him at the top of your list.

Get him in your side today ahead of his side’s trip to Hull FC in Round 8!

Oli Pratt (81 points)

The Trinity centre turned winger’s rich vein of form has been recognised with Oli Pratt being a contender for Glen’s Super League’s Player of the Month for March.

And this form has continued into Rivals Round with a sensational showing as Trinity demolished the Tigers on Easter Sunday.

Pratt helped dismantle local rivals Castleford with two tries, one try assist, three clean line breaks and 140 metres made.

Pratt has become a key man for Wakefield in recent weeks, but will he be part of your Fantasy team going into Round 8? At £120k, he’s someone you should strongly consider…

Jake Trueman (78 points)

Pratt’s teammate Jake Trueman was influential during Wakefield’s win over Castleford and earned Player of the Match as a result.

Trueman crossed for two tries in their 34-0 victory, which translated into 78 Fantasy points.

At the heart of everything Trinity have done in recent weeks, could he be an option in your halves? £110k is a bargain!

Daryl Clark (77 points)

It’s the second time that Daryl Clark has featured on this list. The experienced hooker showcased all his skills against the Warriors in Rivals Round, playing a pivotal role in their famous comeback win – scoring a try any hooker would be proud of!

Clark has been averaging well over 60 Fantasy points per match – in 2026. In need of a new man at dummy half? Clark is it for consistency!

Fantasy flops

Jason Qareqare would have hoped for better after an electrifying display in Round 6 when he scored a hat-trick of tries. But he had a day to forget in Rivals Round and produced a disappointing 18 Fantasy points against Wakefield. Just like the Tigers, he’ll be aiming for better when Super League returns for Round 8.

Josh Thewlis had a quieter afternoon against Leigh, scoring 12 points. It might have had something to do with the rest of his team getting in on the action, however, as the Wolves mauled the Leopards.

Rhinos star winger Maika Sivo came out with just 15 Fantasy points after the Bradford game on Friday, which is low-scoring for the Fijian flier! Similar to Thewlis, there were plenty of Rhinos who starred in Rivals Round, meaning Sivo would have had to have shared the Fantasy spoils in this week's outing!
