BOOST Super League Sweep

To celebrate its official partnership with Betfred Super League, BOOST has hit the shop floor with the BOOST Super League Sweep – a fast-paced, hectic challenge inspired by an iconic game show with the aim of putting matchday fuel to the test.

BOOST is all about fueling peak performance and the Super League Sweep put three Super League powerhouses, alongside their fans, to the test and create the ultimate high-performance Matchday fuel strategy and grab as many items on their shopping list as possible!

Sky Sports Rugby League presenter Jenna Brooks was joined by legendary commentator Dave Woods who provided some iconic commentary as three Betfred Super League players – Jason Qareqare of Castleford Tigers, Mikolaj Oledzki of Leeds Rhinos, and Scott Galeano of York Knights - swapped Super League action for a 90 second supermarket dash battle!

Each Super League player teamed up with a club fan and swapped the pitch for the supermarket aisles to race against the clock and find items given to them on the shopping list. The race was on to fill the shopping trolley before the clock ran out with items consisting of performance-focused products, hidden BOOST Energy and Sport drinks, alongside a selection of everyday shopping items and a handful of wildcard products that don’t typically end up in the weekly shop.

We’re talking items perfect for pre-match rituals - rapid carbs, elite hydration, and of course, loading up on BOOST Sport and Energy.

With just 90 seconds on the clock, each team worked under pressure, using key rugby skills such as speed, teamwork, and decision-making to navigate the challenge, and the general public, and earn as many points as possible to win the grand prize – two tickets to the Betfred Super League Grand Final, some club merchandise and a BOOST bundle of products for the fan from the winning team.
