What's ON?

Betfred Super League’s Magic WKND heads to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2026 – and this year it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!

Over 75,000+ people have already booked their place at Magic WKND, making it the highest attended in the event’s 20 year history.  

On top of a full round of English Super League fixtures taking place on pitch, Magic WKND’s activities start before you even set foot in the stadium with our exclusive Partners’ Fan Zone. 

Fan Zone Activities

Fans are encouraged to take advantage of our unique pass-out system to explore the Magic WKND Fan Zone in the purpose-built Fan Plaza, the perfect setting to soak up the weekend’s party atmosphere. Expect live music, games, face painters, photo moments, and a full mix of food and drink stalls, plus activities from our official partners:

Recharge at Boost’s Fuel Your Game station, test your skills in rugby challenges with Northern, Betfred, Believe and Smart Energy, and enjoy an ice?cold drink from Glens Vodka or ABK Beer as you relax in the sunshine.

Don’t forget to swing by the Oxen merch store to grab a Magic Weekend bucket hat, perfect for the summer. You can expect a great range of merchandise including teddies, NRL shirts, England training wear, balls and more! 

There’s so much for you to explore, enjoy and get involved in throughout the weekend.

DJ CJ 

To get the party started we have DJ CJ on the decs playing everything from current bangers to old classics you can’t help but sing along to. CJ is an internationally renowned DJ who has worked with global icons ranging from Drake and Adele to Frank Ocean. He has DJ’d at events such as The BRITs after party, LIV Golf, the Irish Open, Chelsea FC, the Ballers League, RFU, Formula 1 at Silverstone, and many more performing high energy and party music for thousands of crowd. 

STADIUM ANNOUNCERS 

Alongside DJ CJ we have our resident rugby league stadium announcer Pete Nuttall not only delivering you the action from the sidelines, but bringing you in to it.  

Joining Pete we have our game day hosts, Max Whittle and Ellie Scarlet to capture exclusive behind the scenes footage of Magic WKND, as well as bringing the noise with sing-along competitions between fan bases, and hosting games giving fans the chance to win prizes. 

Max has worked across global stadiums, covering the ATP Tour, Ultimate Tennis Showdown, Roland Garros, Major League Baseball’s London Series Fan Zone, The Hundred, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, regular domestic fixtures for Premier League Club Aston Villa, Sidemen Charity Match 2023, The Open Masters Games in Abu Dhabi and more. 

Ellie is a high energy live events host known for her dynamic coverage of The Hundred at Headingley Stadium and Lords, World Table Tennis at the Copper Box Arena, live sports draws broadcast from The Shard and hosting for McLaren at prestigious races, plus running events at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 

Big Screen Entertainment

Get yourself up on the Big Screen this Magic WKND with CUE technologies!  

CUE are the leading interactive fan experience company in Sport. Working with the biggest teams & rights holders in Sport, CUE help to elevate the matchday experience with innovative moments that create unforgettable experiences for fans. At Magic Weekend, we will debut an AR Fan Filter cam, A mobile fan cam that gives fans the chance to go live on the big screen directly from their mobile device, and a live polling activation to allow fans to vote on different elements throughout the weekend. 

Wanting to wish a loved one a happy birthday, or send best wishes to a Stag or Hen? Get your message up on the big screen by scanning the QR code on the day. 

Player Arrivals

Get ready to greet your favourite players as they arrive for Magic Weekend. Teams will arrive around two hours ahead of their published kick-off time outside the West Stand Main Reception – more exciting announcements to follow! 

Player of the Match

After each game fans will get the chance to vote for the Betfred Player of the Match, so make sure you’ve downloaded the OurLeague App to have your say. Availabe on iOS and Android.

For Hull KR vs Hull FC on Saturday, and Leeds Rhinos vs Bradford Bulls on the Sunday we have special guests from Community Integrated Care’s Learning Disability Super League joining the Sky Sports team for the Player of the Match presentation, putting their journalistic flair on the post-match interviews.

Pitch Activity

On the pitch, in addition to six fierce clashes of Betfred Super League we have the fan-favourite Learning Disability Super League exhibition games delivered by Community Integrated Care at half time of Game 2 both days, a mascot race, competitions where fans can win prizes, the Hype Squad making the rounds with t-shirt cannons so you can bag some free Magic Merch, and more! 

In the City

Beyond our fan zone you can make the most of your visit to Liverpool with local bars, restaurants and pubs offering special deals to Magic WKND ticket holders across the weekend.

Game 2 - Hull KR v Hull FC - KO 3pm

Game 3 - Leigh Leopards v Warrington Wolves - KO 5:30pm 

*Game 4 (France) Catalans Dragons v Toulouse Olympique, KO 8pm (UK), 9pm (CEST)

Sunday 5 July:

Game 1 - Wakefield Trinity v Castleford Tigers - KO 12:30pm

Game 2 - Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls - KO 3pm  

Game 3 - Wigan Warriors v St Helens – KO 5:30pm
