Daniel Suluka-Fifita joins the Saints

St Helens have announced the signing of powerful prop forward Daniel Suluka-Fifita from NRL side the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The towering front-rower joins the Saints immediately and is expected to arrive in the UK within the next seven days, before linking up with his new teammates.

Standing at six feet four inches tall and weighing 112 kilograms, Daniel adds significant size to the Saints’ pack and, with 46 NRL appearances to his name, he brings his experience from playing in Australia to the Betfred Super League.

The 26-year-old made his NRL debut for the Sydney Roosters during the 2020 season against the Gold Coast Titans at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

He joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs ahead of the 2022 season before later making the switch to the Bulldogs.

Head Coach Paul Rowley said: “On behalf of everybody at the Club, I’d like to welcome Daniel to St Helens, and we look forward to seeing him in the Red V.

“After a difficult run with injuries has stretched the squad this season, it’s great to bring in a player of Daniel’s quality and character.”
