21 May 2026
Warrington Wolves have revealed the signing of star half-back, Brodie Croft from the 2027 Betfred Super League season.
The 28-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Club and will remain with the Leeds Rhinos for the rest of the 2026 season before joining his new teammates in pre-season.
With club captain, George Williams taking an opportunity in the NRL at the end of this year, the Wire have moved quickly to secure one of the competition’s best as his replacement.
After spells with the Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm in the NRL, Croft moved over to England in 2022 and took the Super League by storm.
In his sensational debut season with the Salford Red Devils, he was named the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel after scoring seven tries and providing 25 assists.
The scrum-half then made the switch to Leeds Rhinos, where he has scored 28 times in his 62 appearances at AMT Headingley.
He has started the 2026 campaign in flying form, scoring 13 tries in just 11 matches so far – currently sat fourth in the Man of Steel rankings.
On the acquisition of one of the competition’s finest players, Head Coach, Sam Burgess said: “Brodie is a fantastic signing for our club from 2027 onwards and someone we’re excited to bring into the group.
“He’s been one of the standout performers in the competition for a number of years now. His quality, creativity and experience will be a huge asset to us from next season.”
Everyone at the Club is thrilled to have Brodie on board from 2027 and looks forward to welcoming him and his family to the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
