Fantasy League Ins & Outs for Round 9
9 hrs
It’s a close knit affair in the Betfred Super League after Round 8, with only four points separating the top half of the table.
Having stars return or big-game players out could have a massive impact on the league table come the end of the weekend. And on Fantasy League too!
So let's have a look at who's returning to the fold, and who’s likely to miss out on this week’s action....
Ins:
Matty Lees (150k)
The Saints captain played his first game since his side took on Workington Town in the Betfred Challenge Cup back in February.
He’ll be wanting to lead by example as St Helens push towards the top of the table. His return also helps reduce Paul Rowley’s recent injury list.
If you're wanting a change at prop, Lees is your man!

Jake Arthur (130k)
A welcome return for Hull FC. Jake Arthur suffered a calf strain at the start of the month but appears in the match day squad for their Round 9 trip to Castleford. The Hull playmaker will have a point to prove and will hope he can help get his side's season back on track.
Tommy Makinson (£120k)
The veteran winger returned in Round 8, in what was his first appearance since Round 2. And Makinson marked his return to the action in style, scoring two tries and helping the Dragons come back to beat the Wolves!
Looking to replace one of your current wingers? Makinson should be in your thinking.
Cai Taylor-Wray (£90k)Wire's live wire Cai Taylor-Wray has been named in Sam Burgess' 21-man squad and will be looking to replicate his red hot form from the early rounds of the season.
As always - at £90k, the young full-back is an absolute steal!
Outs:
George Williams (160k)
The England half-back put in a stellar display against the Dragons, but it came at a cost. Williams' fine form has come to an abrupt end with Wolves Head Coach Same Burgess confirming he’ll be without his captain for an ‘indefinite period’ with a neck injury sustained in Round 8.
He’ll need replacing if he’s part of your team, but could free up quite a few funds...

Esan Marsters (120k)
He's the latest in a long line of injuries for the Bulls, who are now down to their last 15 fit players. Unfortunately, Marsters won’t be back on the pitch for the remainder of the season, after it was confirmed he had suffered an ACL injury.
It’s time to take Marsters out of your side if he’s part of it.
Sam Lisone (120k)
The Black & Whites bulldozer suffered a torn pec as Hull FC played Saints last Thursday. It since been confirmed that the prop will be out for between 12-16 weeks, meaning he’ll miss a large chunk of what's left of 2026.
If you have Lisone in your Fantasy team you’ll need to swap him out.
