A Round 6 Round Up of the Betfred Women's Super League...
Leeds Rhinos consolidated their position in the top four of the BWSL table with a 48-12 victory over newly promoted Leigh Leopards.
The Rhinos ran in nine tries at AMT Headingley Stadium in Friday night’s double-header, including a brace from Ruby Walker.
On Sunday, Huddersfield Giants bounced back from last week’s narrow defeat with a decent win over Barrow Raiders.
The Giants travelled to Cumbria feeling confidence following last weekend’s impressive performance against the champions.
The away side struck first through Tilly Davies, before Barrow responded through Leah Clough under the posts.
But it was to be nearly all one-way traffic from that moment on, as Amelia Brown and Mollie Iceton both bagged braces and their side came away with an important two points.
Meanwhile, York Valkyrie beat bottom of the table Warrington Wolves 70-0 at Victoria Park.
Five first half tries, including two from Emma Kershaw and all converted by Ellie Williamson, built a formidable 30-0 half time lead.
A further seven second half tries, with six of those converted, saw the Valkyrie ease to a third successive win.
Evie Sexton, Tamzin Renouf and Izzy Bibby also registered two tries each.
Finally, there was a breath-taking showdown between 1st and 2nd on The Sportsman in what was the standout tie of the round.
Wigan Warriors hosted fierce rivals St Helens in a Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final rematch, with both sides unbeaten in the 2025 Women’s Super League so far.
Wigan broke their record attendance for a Women’s game at Robin Park Arena on Sunday afternoon with 1228 in attendance who came to watch The Derby.

And The Derby did not disappoint as it went on to end in a truly pulsating draw.
Saints had the better of the opening forty, scoring three tries through Dani McGifford, Chantelle Crowl and Vicky Whitfield as Wigan opened their account through a Georgia Wilson.

Wigan forged a thrilling second half comeback and scored two tries through Grace Banks and Anna Davies to level things up.
Luci McColm’s response edged Saints in front once again, but Eva Hunter’s try in the closing stages and Izzy Rowe’s conversion saw the game end all square with both teams remaining unbeaten in Super League this season. Watch the full highlights here!
