Fantasy League debrief

We’ve headed into a new month as we take a look back at Week Three of Fantasy…

Top performers

Brilliant Bevan French is unsurprisingly this week’s top performer in Fantasy, following his magical display with Wigan Warriors in Las Vegas.

French has been a must-have in Fantasy for a number of seasons now but has certainly lived up to his £170k price tag.

The Warriors number 6 was heavily involved in Saturday’s action, running over 200 metres and making ten tackle busts, as well as scoring his side’s third try of the match.

This performance saw French amass 88 Fantasy points and with Wigan hosting Huddersfield Giants in Round 4, is French the halfback to take your Fantasy team forward? He could be worth the reshuffle of your team…

Fantasy’s second top performer this week is Daryl Clark of St Helens. Clark also currently sits third in the overall 2025 Fantasy leaderboard with his teammates Jack Welsby and Tristan Sailor in the top two.

Saints are evidently providing the Fantasy points in heaps thus far, with Clark claiming 86 for his players at the weekend.

His side stunned Wakefield Trinity in the second stanza, as the Saints hooker was there to support Sailor and come up with a crucial score.

Will you be choosing Clark in your Fantasy Team ahead of Round 4?

Coming in third is Leigh Leopards’ Umyla Hanley, who racked up a total of 81 Fantasy points. At £110k, Hanley is hot property and has been impressive in the Leopards’ opening three matches.

Hanley was a hat-trick hero in Round 3 and as the Leopards look continue their perfect start, it could be worth considering Hanley for your Fantasy team, especially with the points he is predicted to deliver…

Fantasy flops

Maverick Marc Sneyd is usually a consistent player to have in your Fantasy side. But with only 20 points scored on Thursday night after 59 points scored in the previous round, this could be classed as a flop by his Sneyd’s standards.

Salford’s number 7 is a pricey £160k, and as the Red Devils continue to search for their first win of the campaign, is Sneyd a player who needs to be rotated?

After a decent showing in Rounds 1 and Round 2 with a total of 75 points, Wakefield's Max Jowitt only managed 13 points in Round 3. With Warrington Wolves to play on Sunday after their loss in Las Vegas, Jowitt's performance could go either way...so he could be worth keeping an eye on.

Alec Tuitavake only accumulated 18 Fantasy points in Round 3, despite being on the winning team.

Leigh’s Tuitavake had attained 83 points in the opening two games but his game time was reduced this week to just 21 minutes, meaning he was unable to make as much of an impact.

After a successful start, Fantasy players may have hoped for more in Round 3. At £115k, could Tuitavake be a player you're looking to transfer out?

Similarly, James Batchelor only claimed 18 points, and was part of the victorious Hull KR side. This is a significant decrease in Fantasy points he had picked up in the previous two rounds (93). He also played for a full 80 minutes, which could get Fantasy players thinking whether to keep Batchelor in their teams...
