Ethan O’Neill features for Leigh Leopards. The Leopards edged Catalans Dragons in a thrilling Magic WKND opener, with O’Neill at the heart of the action.
The second rower completed 37 tackles and scored a sensational try, with an equally as sensational celebration!

Peta Hiku, Sam Luckley and Jez Litten were all on the scoresheet – with Litten at the double.
Hiku stunned the St. James’ Park crowd with 132 metres and four tackle busts, whilst Litten made 96 metres and 26 tackles across 71 minutes.

It was also another memorable Magic for Geordie and NUFC fan Luckley, who found history repeating itself as he scored in front of the Gallowgate End for a second time in his career.
Morgan Gannon stole the show for Leeds under the Saturday night lights. One try, one try assist, as well as 141 metres in 17 carries inspired the Rhinos to victory against St Helens.
Huddersfield hero Leroy Cudjoe rolled back the years on Sunday. The 37-year-old stalwart enjoyed a stellar performance in Newcastle, with a mammoth 123 metres, 32 tackles and his first ever Magic try that included a skilful sidestep to cross under the posts.
It was a special afternoon for the Giants, who not only continued their remarkable record of most wins at Magic, but also finally bagged their first win of the Super League season.

Wigan and Warrington’s showpiece tie was then bursting with magic – and of course, it was Jai Field and Bevan French who were the beating heart of it.
French assisted Field in the Warriors’ opening try, before Field returned the favour to send his teammate over – showcasing their classy, trademark attack.
Adam Keighran also put the magic in Magic Weekend, with a breakaway try and 143 metres in just nine carries – that’s almost 16 metres every time!

In defeat, two try scorer Jake Thewlis starred for Warrington on the wing.
The concluding fixture of the day saw Wakefield produce a stunning performance against their local rivals Castleford.
Mason Lino was the orchestrator with three try assists, whilst Lachlan Walmsley had a Magic Weekend to remember, with two flying finishes in the corner.
Although arguably, the moment of the match had to go to Caius Faatili. The powerhouse prop played a total of just 39 minutes at St. James' Park, but went on to have the biggest impact by far.
Not only did he run a whopping 171 metres in 12 carries - an unbelievable effort for a prop forward - Faatli also came up with 21 tackles and two tries.
His first was a typical prop's score crashing over from close range, but his second had the whole crowd on their feet as he burst through the defensive line and racedan incredible 70 metres to touch down in front of the Trinity fans.
It’s a break away from Betfred Super League action next weekend as the Betfred Challenge Cup Semi-Finals take place. Fixture information can be found here.
