Willie Peters named Betfred Coach of the Month
4 Apr 2025

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has been named the Betfred Super League Coach of the Month for March.
The Robins lead the way in Super League after six wins from six and face a Challenge Cup quarter-final derby against Hull FC this Saturday with fans dreaming of a first major trophy in 40 years.
Hull KR have begun the season in strong form and currently have the best defence in Super League with star player Mikey Lewis joint first for number of tries scored in the competition (7).
The Robins ran in nine tries against Huddersfield Giants in Round 6 with Lewis at his best scoring a hat-trick, delivering the perfect response to a defensive lapse that allowed George Flanagan to become the first player to score against Rovers in three games.
Discussing Willie Peters' outstanding month in charge, one member of the voting panel explained:
“His Robins side have moved through the gears brilliantly in March, adding brilliant performances to their perfect run of results. St Helens were swept aside on their own patch, Leigh Leopards left scoreless by the Red and White juggernaut and Huddersfield carved up by a team playing at full tilt.”
The voting panel is made up of selected members of the Rugby League media.
