The Sportsman to show European Wheelchair Championship

There's International silverware up for grabs, live and exclusively on The Sportsman, who have confirmed their coverage of the European Wheelchair Rugby League Club Championship clash between Wigan Warriors and Catalans Dragons this Saturday (April 6).
The showpiece fixture was introduced last season following the success of the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup, giving fans yet another taste of the Anglo-French rivalry.
The Warriors lifted the Betfred Wheelchair Super League trophy in October, winning a thrilling Grand Final against Leeds Rhinos, and are eyeing up more success on the big stage as they make their triumphant return to their Robin Park Arena home.
They come up against a Catalans side looking to win the title they shared with Halifax Panthers in the inaugural European Club Challenge in a thrilling 32-32 draw in 2023. The Dragons also tasted glory on English soil last season, winning the Betfred Challenge Cup as they defeated Leeds Rhinos at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
The Sportsman has the been the home of some thrillers in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League over the last two seasons, and the stage is set for another class, with coverage starting from 5.45pm (KO 6pm) on their dedicated Rugby League Youtube Channel.
